Aaron Peña began his martial arts journey in 1999, training under Sifu John Palacios at Palacios Martial Arts, where he honed his skills in Traditional Gungfu and Sanda (Chinese Kickboxing). Between 2001 and 2009, he competed actively, earning Bronze and Silver medals at the Chin Woo World Championships.

In 2010, Aaron won the Houston Golden Gloves Championship after training at Screaming Eagles Boxing Gym. As a coach, he has trained hundreds of athletes, producing 12 Golden Gloves champions, a Ringside World Champion, and several national and world champions in Sanda and MMA, including Invicta MMA titleholders Lauren Taylor and Tonya Evinger.

Aaron’s fighters include Gaby Echavarry, Paris Moran, and others who have achieved success in MMA and boxing, including an IBO female boxing world champion. His legacy reflects dedication to developing world-class talent across combat sports.

With over a decade of experience Professor David Townsend has Competed, Traveled and Trained with some of the best athletes in the world. Picking up wins and gold medals at the highest level of competition both nationally and internationally. I have a passion to teach and share with my students and help them develop their very own skills using my knowledge and experience.
